परिशिष्ट-२ : महात्मा यांच्याविषयीचा पत्रव्यवहार ७२३ 1890. Dear Ramchandrarao, In my long letter to you about poor Jotiba's petition of July, I stated that if compliance was long deferred, it might prove too late, but even I did not then fear his end would come so soon as it has as you must have seen in yesterday's Subodh Patrika. However, as the good soul did not care its own comfort but that of his devoted wife and the adopted boy, there is yet time for giving relief if H. H. could be induced to do it. If there be no other means what might be done is that the petition with both my letters to you might be shown to H. H. the shorter one in the strictest confidence as early as pos- sible. But I fancy this cannot be before Vinayakrao rejoins his duty. If any other course is posible please think of it. Meantime, an at- tempt would be made to collect another small sum for the family's use. The object of Jotiba as stated above must be specially explained verbally. Yours sincerely, N. M. Paramanand. समाप्त
